Oh, I forgot to add: I chatted with MJ's customer service today. The rep's name was "Hannah", and it was obvious that she working out of India the way she "spoke" to me...very rehearsed, poor grammar, heaping lots of praise on me, super sugary script. However, I got here with about 10 seconds! And she DID answer my question...quickly.

Has anyone tried Faxing w MagicJack?? How about anyone Faxing while using T-mobile's "T-mobile-At-Home" voip service?? For some reason (which I don't understand), T-mobile claims their "T-mobile-At-Home" VOIP service won't support sending / receiving Faxes. Yet MagicJack claims it does support Faxing BOTH w systems hooked up to a phone land line As Well As in systems like mine.. where there is no phone land line ..only VOIP (from T-mobile's "T-mobile-At-Home" service).

I have had a MagicJack for about 18 months. It has performed with only a single issue which had to do with a Compaq laptop computer. It works/ed flawlessly with my Dell Laptop and Asus Netwook. The Compaq problem was resolved with a short call to the company's customer service. I have also tried it on a Sony Vaio laptop. Again no issues. I cannot calculate the money I have saved with the device. I have received three firmware updated so far. All three functioned perfectly. I have no complaints. Effectiveness does depend on one's internet connection however and a poor or slow one will be reflected by the results.
