Speaking of zune deals, buy.com has a pink 4gb with a free car pack for 74.99 shipped. so five bucks more and you get the car pack, which retails for $69.99 (though im sure you could find it cheaper).

p.s. you say 4 gb isnt really enough to take advantage of the zune pass, but I'm going to disagree with you. since you can stream directly from the marketplace from your zune anywhere you have wifi, its kind of like having unlimited storage. and if you want to go for a run where you wont have any wifi, just download the songs you want and take them off later. I think the ubiquity of wifi will eventually make physical storage moot someday.

nope, they've had it ever since they introduced the marketplace on the device. just make sure you enable the functionality from the zune software when your zune is plugged in, and presto, you can listen without downloading.

It was in the last big update to the Zune. Provided Marketplace browsing, buying, and streaming. Also, added looking up and buying songs from FM based on RDS. I have a Zune 80 and love it! Its a great MP3 player and does what it does absolutely well.

The zune software is way better than itunes. It looks and performs better. It'll automatically load any music that is put into its folder. I only keep itunes to update my ipod now, but the software alone is going to have me buying a zune for my next mp3 player.

That $15 a month allows for unlimited browsing, but you can only keep 10 songs a month

That $15 is for any song on the store not for just browsing. Yes you only get to permanently keep 10 songs but you can listen online/from the mp3 player to any of them as long as you have the pass.

Until MS learn how to treat people of diverse backgrounds and music listening preferences with respect, and spend just 5 minutes of its day to put one Asian font file onto the Zune, I'd be happy to buy another. Right now I am too busy getting rid of my Zune 30 which displays all Japanese/Chinese/Korean characters as square boxes. If whoever is in charge of the Zune division is too ignorant and stupid to acknowledge the existence of different languages, I won't give Zune another chance.
