Don't buy these one-trick ponies--unless you like gizmos that gather dust.

However, one thing I noticed was that no one ordered anything to go along with the free medium pizza. I know many of these customers were first-timers and it'd have been nice to show them some of our other great products out there as well.
Managerial speak aside, I hope those of you whom received a free pizza today loved it. If you didn't, I'd like to invite you to give Domino's another chance.
I haven't heard much about, and hope no employees upheld, rudeness with patrons redeeming their free pizzas today. I know I love Domino's Pizza and if there's a way to get it for free, that's even better! Besides, not many who ordered this were aware that it was not approved by Domino's Pizza as an active code, anyway.
My only unpleasant experience with this was one person on the phone who called about the "bailout" pizza and I said that was no longer available and he yelled and hung up. As a manager, you sometimes get much worse, but I think that it was all over the internet had a lot to do with the confusion and frustration some experienced once the code was deactivated.

Thanks for listening!
My order went through but was told canceled later.
I don't think it is fair to for Domino to pull the plug after collecting all my info, and many others'
I too ordered my pizza in Chester, VA during the 9 am hour yesterday and was able to use the code. Around 11 am, I also was called and told the coupon was not valid and I could pay regular price, which prompted me to cancel my order. After watching the posts on this site the rest of the day, I decided to call the store back on my way home. The manager had no clue what was going on (she did say she had just arrived) but did honor the deal with a print out of my order confirmation. So thanks to Domino's and Rick!
I'm sorry that you had to put all of your information in and to expect an order only to be told later that it was canceled. If things with the computer system were as I'd like them to be, then you'd never have been told to expect your order to go through. (Not because I didn't want you to get it, but because the coupon was no longer valid). The workings of the online ordering system are beyond me, so I can't explain why you were told in the first place that your order was valid. If you could provide me with an order number, perhaps I could look into it further? I understand your concern of it not being fair, but it's impossible for Domino's to be able to distinguish and contact each and every online order that was placed after discontinuation was put into effect. We do all that we can to satisfy our patrons.
<So thanks to Domino's and Rick!>
Thank you, Busy_Bea! It's nice to hear that it's appreciated still. You're welcome and I hope it was delicious, as I'm confident it was. :)
Call your local dominos and thank them for the error in your favor. THEN TAKE THE MONEY THAT YOU WRONGFULLY SAVED AND DONATE IT TO A FOOD BANK.
To everyone else, please shut the 4311 up. Whiners.

- "Domino's Pizza Inc. spokesman Tim McIntyre said Wednesday that the company prepared an Internet coupon for an ad campaign that was considered in December but not approved. He says someone apparently typed "bailout" into a Domino's promo code window and found it was good for a free medium pizza.Word about the code spread quickly Monday night on the Web and 11,000 free pizzas were delivered before it was deactivated Tuesday morning."
