That seems unlikely given that the code works on the Domino's site. If you were able to order online using the code, seems to me the store should honor it!

Yep...ordered on the web...got a confirm email...then boom...they pulled the plug and cx my order. Now the coupon code is not working at any store site i choose. Oh well...guess it back to the PB&J!

"Internet scam"?!? It's THEIR website. I think what they meant to say was "Corporate scam"; that is Domino's corporate is scamming the franchisees. If so, that's not your fault, it's Domino's. Let them fight it out with themselves.

Looks like they pulled the offer. My store that accepted it earlier today is rejecting my friends, giving the same message you are getting. Guess they were losing too much money and somebody hit the panic button.

I ordered and received a rude call from the local store. They canceled my order and said that I did a rude thing. I told him it was their website and Rick Brioda fault! I ate my sandwich for breakfast, now lousy oatmeal for lunch. I hate you Rick! :)

Domino's SUCKS! I just tried the one in North Brunswick, NJ and it went through online. I got a confirmation and everything. Then they called me back and said that it's an "error" in their system even though they could see that I was supposed to get it for free and that I'd have to pay $10. So I canceled it.

Here in Ohio, I got the same experience as Razorbill72. Place my order around 10 a.m. Got a confirmation e-mail. Everything looks legit and OK.

Then the store called around 11:30, and told me it is an Internet scam. Someone hacked into their system and create that bogus coupon code, etc, etc. They canceled my order. But unlike Spitz_Mcgee's, fortunately the manager was polite.

I ordered my pizza at 9am central, got a call about 10:30 confirming my order. They didn't say anything about the price... Fingers crossed my free pizza will be waiting when I get home from work.

The coupon worked for my entire support department here. We ordered 9 pizzas and got all 9. Two of us went to pick up immediately. Most of the rest got a call from teh store saying they wouldn't honor the coupon. When we picked up, we were told that they already made ours, but they wouldn't honor the other coupons because it was caused by a "computer glitch". We gave them our $0.00 receipt and a screenshot of the coupon in the cart. I guess that helped, as they honored the rest of the orders.

I tried the coupon when we got back and it doesn't work now. I'm guessing this was a backdoor coupon that wasn't supposed to get out. The store did say that they were not going to be reimbursed by corporate for the pizzas.

And why would that kind of information be told to you, anyway? You're a patron and it's not your burden about what malfunctions happen at the Domino's website.

I did check this deal out. When I plugged in the code this morning, it worked just fine, and appeared to be a legitimate coupon. According to a Domino's rep, the code was created internally for a promotion that never got the green light, but some customer happened upon it. Apparently the company gave away 11,000 pizzas that weren't supposed to be given away.

Sorry you're disappointed, but these things happen. I believe the rep and don't think there were any corporate shenanigans at work here.

I placed my order around 8:45 am CST and it went through no problem. Picked it up and paid my $1.40 (extra topping) and just finished eating it. Store didn't mention any issues...

I made sure not to go into the logistics of the problem with my customers either. I think that was very professional of your local Domino's Pizza. As is the best way, I handed the free ordered pizzas with a smile and asked if they cared for red pepper packets to go along with it. It's unfortunate to hear of some stores that were rude and such. I guess sometimes it's hard to know how to respond to something like this. So... those of you who were treated rudely, just try to remember that these were people who had literally no idea what was going on and they were caught off-guard. I encourage you to try that store again.
