Pick up one of the all-time great action/RPG games for less than the price of a matinee movie ticket.

Thanks for another great deal Rick, I picked up both games, looking forward to trying them out soon. Checking this site is a hightlight of my mornings. I really like roboform and some of the ipod touch apps you suggested too. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I don't even have a PC anymore that can run this damn game, but I'm gonna buy it any ways. I just know when I build my new rig in a month or two, I'll kick myself for not jumping on that.

I gotta throw in props for the Steam software too. I really like what it does and how it allows you to take your games with you to any computer. Valve is getting something right with Steam

I haven't played a serious FPS since Unreal Tournament (original), but I got this one too.

The Complete Valve pack at $75, the Orange Box at $27 were also great deals. They also have World of Goo for $15 (not such a great deal, but still cheapest around) . I guess steam is trying to be the iTunes of video games. I hope it works for them and us.

I concur with most of the people here, Steam is a pretty good way to keep your games together and updated, and this particular deal is quite a catch. Thanks Rick, I picked up BioShock and a few other gems I wanted.

Happy New Year, Everyone,

I bought Bioshock. It cannot play on my Vista Laptop, but that is probably a video issue. I plan to buy a Quad PC with a better video card so that might address the issue.* I'll try my PC next. I got two other people to, happily, make purchases too. They were quite familiar with Bioshock and glad I told them about it.

Thanks,
Choco

*Rick, where is that steal of a Quad 4, 4GB or better RAM, Vista Premium, Tuner installed, Video card HDMI/DVI output (to go with the moniter you made me buy lol) and DVD Burner with Labelfish or lightscribe? I'm afraid I'll go get one from Microcenter and then you'll come back with a much better deal.

I got a HP m9250f refurbished from buy.com for $635, after $15 coupon and free shipping. It had all your specs (quad 2.66, 4gig, raid0 Terrabyte HDD, vista prem, tv tuner, remote, lightscribe dvd burner, wireless keboard and mouse). You may have to troll dealnews.com or boddit.com for a couple of weeks to get a deal like this.

Jasper, that looks pretty good. Thanks. :)

I should have been clearer, by got I mean I actually purchased it - 3 months ago. They don't have it any more at buy.com, but they often have great deals on refurb HPs. I can recommend the m9250f.

If you missed the Steam holiday sale, you can still go to tcircuitcity.com and pick up a lot of games for comparably cheap prices. I purchased Portal, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic for all $4.99 each. With the first two I had to order online and then pick them up in a store near me (you must order them online first to get the cheap prices). For Dark Messiah I was able to get free shipping but it will be several weeks for it to arrive.

Oops, ET: Quake Wars is back up to $9.99. Good thing I picked it up last night. But the other two deals stand as of now.
