Final note... I figured I would try out the app so as not to be a hypocrite but the eReader site is REQUIRING me to enter credit card information for me to be able to unlock my "free" books.
I was able to easily download all these books directly to my kindle in under a minute from Amazon's site.
I guess the old adage is true... you get what you pay for.

I've read a number of books on both the Palm and the iPhone using eReader's software. I really like it, like you, because of the backlighting. My eyes aren't the best but the backlighting REALLY helps. I've read reviews about the Kindle and they talk about the lack of backlighting as a feature. I think it's a bug.

Also, I've been reading more paper books lately because of the ridiculous price of ebooks. It's like charging extra for using an ATM, when it's actually much cheaper for the bank. Feh.

Wow, I still can't believe fan boys who may have a life, still makes insensitive comments for posts like this, every topic they talk about is all based on the opinion guys, we all are entitled to an opinion, that's why we call it an opinion, own personal view.

Hey, just a quick update: I'm having a hard time getting into "Whiskey Rebels," but I was instantly hooked by Charles Huston's clever, gritty "Caught Stealing." Surprisingly good freebie!
