You can get a new 550 for $50 shipped at www.pcrichard.com. So for a few bucks more you get a new remote with more functionality (more buttons, sound/picture mode) over the 520. by absentspace December 19, 2008 7:33 AM PST: Best Buy has the 550 on sale for $49.99 in stores or online, brand new. I've had one for over a year now and it's a fantastic remote. I paid $99 for it when I bought it. My only complaint is that it lacks a rechargeable battery. Eventually, I will upgrade to an RF harmony, remote and get some automated lighting, but for $50 the 550 can't be beat.; Like this Reply to this comment

If it is for older folks (Mom or Grandma visiting) who might not have the greatest eyesight or dexterity you may opt for a more expensive Harmony with a bigger display.; Like this Reply to this comment
