the small screen on this model does not make it suitable for anyone using it with a receiver..... too many pages to flip through to use it properly

I have one of these. It works GREAT, but I agree with @cam1850 that the small screen can be annoying. I paid twice as much for it as this though, and still love it.

I wanted to buy one for a friend, but the Web site link in this article doesn't seem to be working- all I get is a blank screen.

Thanks Rick! I just picked one up for my Dad. It's going to be a merry Christmas.

I have this one and love it! I prefer the 550 over the "higher-end" ones since it has all the same features and software, and in my opinion this sleek remote with a classy blue backlight looks much much nicer than the curvy pod models, and most importantly I don't WANT to string a recharge base from an outlet to my couch - I've had this one for almost year without changing batteries.

will this work with Satellite Receivers, such as DirecTV, and what about DVR's? Will it allow access to the pausing and recording.... setup, guide, and playlists?
