If the TV industry wants to stop me downloading these series from bittorrent then this is the correct price point. They already syndicate all over the world, so sell it to me and a million of my friends for next to nothing online.

So in other words if you think it's too much then steal it? So if I think the DVD in wal-mart is too much just walk out of the store with it without paying?

If you wish to make a point do not buy the item. If you steal it then they kow it is somethign desirable and thus they can justify the high prices. If no one buys and no on steals then they can say "Hmmm nobody wants this maybe we should lower the price". Does a painting from a famous artist become LESS valuable after it gets stoeln? No it gets MORE valuable. Does the fact that ral jewelry made with real gold and real gems get stolen more than costume jewelry make it cost less? No. Do cars that get stolen more drop in price? No. So if you steal in an attempt to convince content providers to lower prices it won't work because it's never worked before. If you steal just because you don't want to pay what they charge then you're no better than a common criminal.

downloaded a few and have since gained about 2,500 movies and about 200 full seasons of tv shows. Have also canceled my tv cable service needless to say.. haha :)

The price is right. The utility isn't. DRM keeps me from putting these shows where I need them to enjoy them. At 5 bucks a season I'd even consider these disposable and really not care if I kept them. It all comes down to being able to enjoy them.
