Great find. Just placed my order, too. I'm replacing an older 20GB Pro that doesn't have the HDMI port.

I love you Rick. Sometimes readers complain, but the un-vocal ones are just satisfied : )

Now this is a great deal! =) Sadly I won't be buying one though. I don't play enough console games.

Ok *** dude. This is really making me feel that you're biased.

Yesturday you did the Sony Reader on the Sony store. You mentioned that credit card deal. You can get the 80GB PS3 ( WHICH IS A BLU RAY PLAYER) for only 250 dollars using that same deal. SAME PRICE AS THE 360 YOU ARE OFFERING NOW, 20 MORE GIGS OF SPACE, AND IT'S A BLU RAY PLAYER.

I swear this is like the 3rd Microsoft Xbox 360 deal you've brought us and you haven't even once tried to help someone get a PS3. Gears of War 2 and Halo are fun games, Fable 2 is nice, but the PS3 has Little Big Planet which is getting rave reviews and may just end up being a Game of the Year front-runner.

Are you seriously trying to help people learn how to save money? Or are you just trying to push 360s at this point? I mean it's fine if you want to give someone a good deal and the 2 free games isn't a bad deal, but... Can't you at least share the fact that you can get a PS3 with the same deal for the Sony Reader? Is that so much to ask that you show us Nintendo and Sony deals when ever applicable? Blu Ray player/Game Console for $250 dollars is a pretty dang solid deal. For $100 more you can get the 160 GB which is higher than a 360 can do at this point by about 40 GB.

Sure the PS3 doesn't come with an HDMI cable but that's 5 dollars or less shipped from Monoprice or Amazon. The reason why I'm mad is the 360 has the cheapest SKU on the market and the largest game repitoire. The PS3 though has GTA IV (as does the 360) Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3 only) as well as Little Big Planet (releases in 5 days only on PS3) and all 3 of those games have been gettting PERFECT 10 REVIEWS. That's a pretty solid line up man. The Blu Ray player alone is worth it. Why not show people that have a 360 (the majority by 5.4 million people) how they can get a PS3 as well and at a more affordable cost?

Maybe Rick is like me and already has the Sony Card and therefore cannot take advantage of this deal that forces you into signing up for yet another credit account. Maybe he doesn't like the PS3 or has had a really bad experience with Sony, the PS3, and Sony Card like I have. Maybe the PS3, its games, and/or its movies are still so ridiculously overpriced it's not worth mentioning here. Maybe the PS3 is missing a certain critical feature while promoting another one that's already obsolete.

If you want to promote the PS3 that badly, you really should go start up your own column or blog. There's no requirement here to give every console the same amount of attention, particularly the console in which continues to lose this generation and has developers fleeing from it. If there's a good deal I'd love to see one, but promoting a credit offer which is not accessible to everyone and may have a detrimental impact on someone's credit score (which is exacerbated by these harsh financial times) does not sound like a cheap good deal.
