This is a pretty good deal. I am scouring the net looking for a well-priced monitor since all of my serious surfing/gaming is done through my lcd TV. I need backup monitor in case some games auto default to a setting that will cause my screen to black out. I will then either have to figure out how to configure the rez pre launch of the game app, or plug my rig into a monitor in-game to resize the settings.

This looks dynamic as I could use my ps3, or cable, or straight vga to vga monitor if needed. Hmmm, it might to my living room of uber geekness. That's a pretty good price for a monitor. I am not familiar with that brand though normally shop on new egg.

My original intention was to replace a cheap CRT monitor with a low cost LCD for space saving consideration. I had no idea when I bought this monitor that the value and quality far exceeded my expectations. In this I also opted to try out the HDMI port with AT&T U-verse's box and stunned to learn that we were able to convert an analog CRT 15" TV with what is now a 19" widescreen HDTV in the kitchen! The quality overall is quite obvious and motivated me to purchase two more for computers I own, where in one case it would be utilized as a dual monitor. Adding, I spent at least $100 more for a Samsung 22" that doesn't even have a tilt stand. This one does. The speakers are minimal, but one has the ability to improve upon that. The only downside I see with this fine monitor is the lack of a DVI port. I've read only positive things about this brand so far and they obviously caught my attention. Don't take my word for it...go look at one!

dvi to vga converter is like 3 cents? If that's your only draw back it's pretty good review on the + side. How long have you owned it.

Skip the 19 inch and get the 22 inch hanspree for $199 resolution of 1680 by 1050 if I'm not mistaken. Worth the extra money. Comparable to much more expensive samsung monitors.
