I wish my Ipod would work for more than 2 years at a time. The Apple store told me "all hard drives have a 100% failure rate." Wow, thanks genious bar, so do people and everything else in the universe. It's just does it fail in 1 year or 90 years. We need cheaper and bigger flash drives ASAP.

I would like to see the following things:

Stereo Bluetooth
DRM free iTunes
Flash Memory Slots
Replacable Battery

Of course, I figure that we will see pigs fly before we see any of those things. If it weren't for the DRM I would have bought a player that had those things already.

ipod does have replaceable battery
by BigGuns149 May 6, 2008 12:39 PM PDT
AFAIK EVERY generation of iPod has had a user replaceable battery. Fry's has sold ipod batteries for years and there are numerous online vendors that sell ipod batteries. The battery could be easier to replace, but to say that it isn't user replaceable is a dubious claim.

Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.

About Apple

CNET News' Erica Ogg and other reporters will attempt to make sense of the rumors, hype, products, and people that will shape the future of the company.
