Apple's latest patent filing could produce an Apple TV product that's a DVR and a movie rental box, and could also be controlled by an iPod.

And this from a patent application. Once upon a time, patents actually had to be novel, believe it or not.

Humm. This looks vaguely identical to TiVo and ReplayTV patents and their products shipped in 1999.

Looking at the superimposed programming info at the top of the first picture, it looks like Dave's guests tonight include Albert Brooks and the lovely Kristin Cavallari. Plus, stay tuned for Stupid Pet Tricks... hey, when did Letterman start coming on at 10pm.....?!?!?

iTunes downloads ??

Amazon MP3 without DRM , with much higher bit-rate , and lower cost that works across all platforms is killing off Apple`s business.
And HULU (free/high quality) sure is better than paying iTunes for the same shows. iTunes...so long , nice not ever having known you !
