I've been trying for 3 weeks now in Okinawa, Japan. It always times out within a couple minutes, yet the download rate is like maybe 100 KB/s, out of 230 MB. I am disappointed Apple didn't offer an alternative download. If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know.

hye.. i am having a different proble. i just update my iphone to verdion 3.1. it success but there is no coverage and in the line bar it display no sim. is anyone can help me solve this prob
