what is wrong with you people trying to control everything. Get a grip on yourself and let the people do what they want. If people find these things offensive then they will not look at it and if it's that bad people will complain about it and at that point is when it should be banned. It's not up to you it is up to the people who use the IPOD. stop trying to intervene.

Obviously censorship run amuck. I love Apple products but find it disconcerting when a corporation gets into censoring what it's customers read/access with the product after it has been purchased. There is a worm in the Apple, such a shame as their products are so superior in ease of use etc.

Kama Sutra on a Palm would be better than on an iPhone.

Censorship of content by Apple? Everybody else gets sued for doing it. Maybe Apple should be sued, too. I hate many of the idiotic law suits in the computer industry, but banning an app that can access the Kama Sutra is stupid. This type of censorship is one of the things very wrong with Apple's distribution model. If I buy a device, it should be me, and not the manufacturer, who decides what I do with it.

Freedom of speech in a nation can be protected by its constitution and laws; but with a corporation acting as a dictatorship, who can protect it?

Yah they did the right thing, eventually. Bloggers must have had a field day on this one. It is historical corporate culture, however, Apple being scared to try new things in the software arena. They do make the best hardware on earth but software now that?s a different story. Finicky is definitely the word to use to best describe Apple?s new business development practices. One of the main reasons MS had to bail them out was because they were limited to how they sold. Not believing in alliances with other companies in selling your products in today?s global economy is a pretty archaic way of thinking. Apple is NO. 1 in innovation producing hardware company yet at one point they did not even want to sell their merchandise at Walmart in the 90?s. They are pretty sloooooow or too precautious when It somes to the merging of ides. Ultimately, though they spin off some great long product life cycle stuff that everyone want to jump on the bandwagon with.
