wal-mart better give their electonics sales associates some better product trainng, I've been in the store and was amazed what I heard the sales clerk telling the customer. You might get a better deal, but do some research before you buy anything. That applies to any place you are looking.

Walmart is a terrible store and needs to let it's employees unionize instead of trying to sell macs.

I completely agree. There needs to be a retail worker's union in this country. Restaurant workers need to unionise as well. Walmart may be one of the highest profile offenders, but they aren't alone.

Anyone for starting a Retail and Restaurant Workers of America union?

Walmart could line their tech department with gold, it will still be the Chinese heaven of trash-mart products -- no matter what. I have stopped purchasing Chinese-made anything. I will stop doing business with any company that outsources their employees or manufacturing, in part or in whole, to China, India or anywhere other than the US. If the company is US then the product better be made, sold and serviced HERE. And I am not the only one. China, India, etc - you're going down.

I also try to keep all my purchases domestically made. It's extremely difficult to do in today's "global economy" however. As far as computers are concerned, I'd like to see them made in the United States again. Heck, I'd just about settle for "made in Japan" again!
