- Well, after psystar sues the socks off of apple then I will buy one. LOL I want to see what the courts decide before I get one. But its ridiculous that an equivalent apple costs $1000 more. Insane. This is why I don't own an apple now. I love OS X, quite a fine personal computer OS. But the Apple Tax is not a myth. Apple either needs to partner with companies like Psystar to sell apple licensed systems that run OS X or they need to compete on cost.
