Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.
Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.

What's a virus? - Mac user
Nobody would expect Ferrari to produce three door hatch backs for $25,000, so why do people always expect Apple to create some low end product? Some companies are meant for people who are willing to make an investment, or who can merely afford the initial buy in. Though in Apple's case, it is more on the investment end. They even have monthly payment plans in the $30 price range, for those who want to get a Mac, but can't easily (or expeditiously) save money.
I love that. I'm not saying that Mac users are always the smartest (I work in tech support and I still get calls from Mac users) but the low end users will saturate the tech support and the Apple service would go downhill. I don't want that. I'd rather pay for a mid-to-high end product than let the Apple brand be diluted with low quality computers.
Yes consumers want everything. They have been asking for an Apple that is upgradeable and inexpensive. Apple has only delivered either/or, not both for the price.
Apple has this flawed belief that if they produce low-end computers it will be competition against their high end computers. Thats like saying if Toyota produces the Corolla, it will steer buyers away from the Avalon. Obviously the corolla hasn't hurt Toyota's sales, and neither will a cheap consumer grade Apple.
And don't bring up the Mac Mini. It has no real expandability other than via external ports.
Sincerly Jobs You you did good job in OS and IPhone's invention but you have to realize that apple is still far far away in Netbooks and notebooks Features comparing of what SONY, DELL, HP, TOSHIBA... have to offer. Jobs Comments make me feel like he is going to sell his products only in Beverly Hills, for him all brands in the market around him are pieces of junks.
Come On! if you want to make business you have to look around!
