I had a question regarding this keynote presentation. I am ecstatic about the new macbooks though unfortunately I purchased one last year so I probably won't get another for 2 years or so. But, I was wondering whether the entire event would focus on computers. I bought an ipod touch 2G the week it came out and sold my old one because I wanted to use the microphone capabilities. Unfortunately they haven't released the headphones o developers aren't making apps for the ipod touch mic. Will apple release the headphones with the mic for the ipod touch tomorrow because Jobs said they would in october and another event this month seems unlikely? Just a question...

And one more thing...When will Apple release Snow Leopard? I am sure it will not be tomorrow but is it soon?

I thought Snow Leopard was due to be released at MacWorld 2009. Hopefully they will give us some sort of an update on its progress though. I'm pretty excited for it.

have you tried the standard headphones that come with the iphone? most iphone users buy a bluetooth headsset and have those laying around in a drawer.

USB 3.0 seems highly unlikely given that they don't even have Blu-Ray yet...
If we're lucky blu-ray will be an option.
Would be nice to get an updated/replacement for the mac mini :)

"Will apple release the headphones with the mic for the ipod touch tomorrow"

That is very unlikely to be announced at this morning's event.

"When will Apple release Snow Leopard?"

Apple has not announced a release date for that but it's not going to happen this year.

New Mac Air?

I hope not, since even now, they did not solve the kernel issue / overheating on the old one, and always, the same answer: ?Apple knows the issue, and our engineers are working on the solution? , yep , almost an year now.

I don't see Apple going with USB 3 right off the bat. They will probably invest in faster FireWire ports on the new MacBook with FireWire 800. Probably add an NVIDIA graphics processor on them as well. But we'll see!
