Someone apparently found a way to inflate the recruitment call statistics for Barack Obama's iPhone application. The problem was fixed late Friday, though.

Doesnt suprise me. I witnessed a voting war on a NYT post last year. Some Apple zealot created a bot and within 12 hours added 100000 new votes for Ipod.

Complete? The dems are the ones who caused this need for a bail out. You can lay the blame squarely on Clinton and Barney Frank.

The Obama phone calling action plan began as early as September 26 (possibly earlier). My guess is that the results were simply uploaded to the iPhone app later from the regular non-iPhone results.
