After installing 10.5.5 in my iMac, Agenda stopped responding.

When I try to open it, nothing happens for a while and then a message informing that the application closed unexpectedly pops up.

Nothing I've tried so far has been of any help.

After Installing 10.5.5 I have problems with my idisk. anytime i launch it the program just crashes with a spinning icon.

This OS update seems very buggy with very specific problems remaining on it.

So frustrating!

Agree with bsutton, Open Office 2.4 is trashed. Have to use force-quit to close. I hope they get this bug fixed quick. It's the first real problem I've had with my macbook in a over a year and a half.

After installing 10.5.5, I am experiencing application windows (all open apps in one Space) often redisplaying with crosshatching covering the entire app window. I can only correct this by moving to another Space and returning. Is anyone else seeing this? It did NOT happen before 10.5.5.

Found a fix for the unresponsive Agenda.

"Address Book freezes: Users who have set up a up a "smart group" in Address Book that uses non-conditional (e.g. Cards not in a group") may find that the application and is constantly unresponsive after installing Mac OS X 10.5.5."

I tried installing the update.. but it freezes as the bar is trying to load. It only loads about a centimeter in, and then freezes. I've left it for more than 12 hours but it still remains the same. What should I do?

I haven't let my MBP sit for 12 hours, but it does seem to stop progress when I try to install the update. Have you found a solution yet?

Tried to update but the screen froze with the progress bar loaded about two millimeter. It stayed that way for more than 12 hours. Tried twice but the same problem persisted. HELP!

install seems to be fine on my Mac Pro.

But, have the same stalled install problem described above for the Macbook Pro.

Also, we tried downloading it again, but it won't.
Continues to try the previously downloaded update, and stalls out every time.

Download does not show up in the downloads file, or in the software updates installed log.
Would like to delete it and download again, but can't locate the download anywhere on the machine.

Any help out there?

My scanner stopped working once I installed 10.5.5. It still works with my old (Windows) computer, and it worked before 10.5.5, but it's not working now.

The scanner is part of an HP all-in-one, the C4280.

Any ideas on what to do now?
