Comments on: Apple: MobileMe e-mail issues are behind us

E-mail problems that have affected Apple's MobileMe service for a month have apparently been fixed, but Apple still has work to do to satisfy critics of the service.

None of my computers Calendars sync; ditto for my iPhone. This is a very frustrating experience and would not recommend anyone spend a dime on this.

Mobileme is working well, and more or less as advertised. However, there is still one significant problem that Apple Mobileme reps have acknowledged to me via e-mail. Apparently, along with me, a number of people cannot upgrade their accounts due to ongoing server problems. This is really annoying for me as I have bought two iPhone 3Gs, and have wanted to upgrade my account to add a family pack so that my wife can use Mobileme and share calendars with me. Each time I go to upgrade, it keeps giving a server error message. Apparently there is no official ETA on when this additional problem will be resolved...

Well people, that's what you get for putting your faith in a company that wants to become a monopoly.

It is shocking to me, a loyal customer, how seriously they botched this changeover. I had been having troubles with my .Mac account since I started using Comcast. Once MobileMe took over the problems only got worse. The response I am getting is that I should call Comcast. (Who in turn tells me it's Apple's problem) One extra month of service just doesn't seem like enough. For the amount of work I have had to do to trouble shoot their problems, I should get a whole year free. I think it is unconscionable that they are claiming that all the problems are solved. They are in la la land.

You need to put the Fail Me back up. The forced transfer to Mobile Me from my Mac account has done nothing but cause frequent email failures.

I couldn't even log on to comment here because my email confirmation was inaccessible for a while!
Mobile Me= FAIL

Apple's mobile .me.com is the worse application I have ever used. It makes Outlook Express look so good I now prefer it to Apple's email app.

It is an abomination.

Apple should be ashamed for forcing this piece of crap on users who pay $100 a year to use this abomination.

I hate it.

I resent the extra time it takes to process the emails and many times I cannot display the contents. What good is it if you see you have an important email and you can't find out what it is about.

Saying it works as designed is just a cop out.

Fix the design, morons.
