If Yahoo is allowed to sell search engine results through Google when Google gives them a better price than they can manage themselves, Yahoo stays independent and continues to innovate. If Yahoo is forced to merge with Microsoft, Yahoo becomes valueless and Google gets near 100% of the market.

One could only hope the Senate teaches Google the hard anti-trust lessons they taught Microsoft over the years.
