Meet the new boss, same as the old boss

I was hoping President Obama would change America, but he seems like a sugarcoated Bush. Hopefully he won't invade North Korea and telling us "Oops!" after the war.

Thanks Declan for more great reporting. I've been deeply involved in things cyber for well over a decade and it gets frustrating at times to see the same issues and challenges being rehashed, and everytime they are folks think they have discovered something new. A personal warning I've been giving friends throughout government today is they don't want to come back a decade from now and see the same challenges are being rehashed again then too.

There are some key differences between now and the past: I have seen great new articulations of the threat and I believe more seniors understand they threat, so that is a change. I have seen great understanding of the need for action and I credit Melissa Hathaway and her hard work for that. Unfortunately, the threats have been growing and the issues are still with us.

Anyway, your report is a great one and for me it underscores the need to really take action now.

Cheers,
