Personally, it sounds like another pet job to reward supporters/contributors with. This is what has happened with the prior 'czar' jobs of both Republican and Democratic parties.

- Republicans (as in the Bush administration) don't believe that government can work, and every time they get into office they try to prove it. I say, give the Obama team a chance to do the securing and firewalling and so forth that the Bush administration should already have done.
