Well, most of those 'neocons' do not 'love freedom'. They love THEIR version of freedom, where everyone kowtows to their god, adheres to their morality, and does whatever they are told to do by their betters.
I have to agree that most of them are borderline insane. The fact is that 'good' and 'evil' (outside of killing someone else, forcing someone else with physical force into a sexual situation, and stealing from someone else) are totally viewpoint and no one has the right, outside of those three things I listed, to force their views of 'good' and 'evil' on someone else.
