Why don't the politicians just arrest themselves? That would save a lot of time and effort. Instead of trying to treat the symptoms of debauchery we could get right to the source.

Here is a better idea: simply legalize prostitution (even for children, as long as they are not being forced physically into it) and get on with your freaking lives. It is a woman or man's (male, females) right to sell their body if they so wish to!
And it is NOT the place of anyone else to tell them that they cannot do that. Really, I would like all of these 'sexual morality' laws to be challenged on the grounds that they infringe on a person's right to 'Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness'.

Prostitution has done good for a lot of countries. It helps reduce rape. This has been shown over and over again that prostitution helps reduce rape.

I've never read any official research that suggests that rape is reduced, but it certainly sounds plausible. While I do think it is necessary to protect children from exploitation, our laws are flawed. 18 year old ?kids? are thrown in jail for sexual ?offenses? with their 17-year-old girlfriends. Laws should be structured to consider age differences, not be legal one day and illegal the next. And, the whole idea of making the sale of ?sexual services? illegal is absolutely stupid. It is not that I support it, per se, but more that it is one of those things that is, quite frankly, none of my business. If a person wants to do that, why not? Nobody gets upset if the same act is performed without the exchange of money. So, where is the logic in that?
