Even though I don't think that facebook users have the guts or willpower to defect, I would kind of like to see a mass deactivation occur. It could make for a very interesting case study. Can consumers in the web-o-sphere really demand such control from web company?

- There isn't really a whole lot new with the new interface to support, except for the greater number of more prominent ads. That's the real reason they won't provide the "classic" interface.
