During my time in the field of nuclear material safeguards
measurements, I was fortunate to make a number of trips to Los
Alamos for short courses and conferences. Thanks for bringing
back some of the memories of a truly unique place.

I work at LANL in the nuclear nonproliferation area and I'm lucky enough to associate with some of the brightest minds in our country. There are hundreds of dedicated scientist working very hard to keep our country safe. It is frustrating when the only publicity we get is negative when so much good is going on here. Thanks again for stopping by.

As an example, I played a small part in the nonproliferation effort
by being a monitor for the HEU Transparency program for two
years. People are amazed when I tell them where 10 percent of
their electricity comes from. Also, the anti nukes among them are
conflicted. "Destroying uranium, good! Keeping the waste, what?"
It's always fun to watch their minds almost explode.
