I'm 20 and I've listened to Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant all of my life.

Robert Plant was recording down in the Mississippi Delta region and in and around New Orleans. He also performed in New Orleans at a club, I wish I could have caught that!

So hopefully he remembers where he recorded and makes a stop down here :D!

The mighty Led Zeppelin

It's gratifying to see that the greatest and most influential band in rock history is still, far and away, the most popular band in the world. THE SITE RECEIVED 120 MILLION HITS WITH 25 MILLION INDIVIDUALS GETTING THROUGH TO REGISTER IN JUST THE FIRST 24 HOUR PERIOD. The site crashed instantly and repeatedly due to crushing demand of historic and unprecedented levels. Not much coverage of this in the mainstream media, a littli surprising considering the numbers, then again, they always resented the fact that Led Zeppelin became gigantic with practically no help from the press.

How the Mighty STILL Make $$ Big $$ Bucks W/ Come- Back Tours!

The Matter is Unique in that the " Earliest" ( 2nd, Only

to the 'Liverpool 4', a.k.a "The Beatles "), R'n'R Band

is fresh off a 24 Month WORLD Tour... What is Good for the

Mindbenders, the Ventures, the Yardbirds, the Duet of Peter &

Gordon, Manfred Mans' Earth Band, Van Morrison -( who for

all practical perposes.... Has Never Stopped Touring!),the

WHO, Diffrent facets of Procol Harem, ERIC BURDON & Four

Incarnations of...who else, The Animals, " STING " & The

Police, JETHRO TULL ...The band that "KEEPS ON GIVING "

and a host of Other Bands who Will Remain Unmentioned at

this time! (Don't FORGET "the VANILLA FUDGE")

OKAY, enough Nostalgia, The Matter at hand that is

Being Addressed is The (Mighty) LED ZEPPELIN. Givens: (1.)

Top All-Time Seller of Recordings, RIAA Certification as a

top Money-Winner,(2.) The band, Strung together from Other

Bands,be the at a "Club" status, World Recognized (ie.,

The YARDBIRDS),(3.) or the "Grafting in" Due to the word of

mouth/reputation from in the studio-work to Touring exper-

ience. This hearty Blend resulted in LED ZEPPELIN in the

Mid-60's. We are hoping the excellence Experienced at the

Knebworth Concert(s) Showcasing the Band in the late 80's

and Early 90's will be as " Shredding " and High-Energy at

the 02 Venue in LONDON ! When your reviewer saw

LED ZEPPELIN LIVE... 1971, in the old Atlanta Braves

Stadium ( Atlanta, Ga. ). early "Big Screen " Stuff like

The 'Stones' use in their tours now... only smaller. In

those days, thanks to the Concept of " Festival Seating "

A person could still SEE the band, HEAR the band, (NO Sound

Distortion), and EXPERIENCE The band ! A common complaint

of Too Many Live shows often is a weakness in One of these

Three Areas, Particular in the "Open Air" Venues.

ALL-IN- ALL the Writer is Hoping that this "TEST" Ap-

pearance of

the Band, will live up to the Investment of

L 125.00(Pounds Sterling),or $375.00 (dollars U.S.) + Tax

& HandlingChgs,
In Comparison, Jethro Tull played here (in TAMPA-

Clearwater Fl.,area) Mid-July for $135.00/ Orchestra Area

(1st Row) an indivual seat. (including Tax and "Ticketron"

handling).

15 sites that went kaput in 2009

Web sites launch all the time, but they also shut their doors. We highlight 15 that bit the dust this year.

Top 10 news stories of the decade

Let the debate begin: Was the iPhone more important than iTunes? Was anything bigger than Google finding a great business model? CNET offers its list of the 10 most important stories of the '00s.
