I'm already a bit obsessive about the lists, and this gives me yet another reason to use them!

Dont know if I'm missing it, but they need a way to eliminate multiple instances of a person if they're shared among multiple lists for the chat feature. I'm thinking a hierarchy system so that it always puts them in the top priority list, and then from there people can be manually adjusted.

I ran into that problem too. My solution was to take advantage of the "Other Friends" category that comes up automatically. This category includes all your friends from any unselected lists, and any friends that aren't in a friends list already.

That just meant being more selective about which groups of friends I selected to include in it's own chat list, and relying on the other friends section to pick up the rest.

My main problem was that I have a general list of people I hang out with somewhat regularly, and then a more specific list of close friends which is really just a subset of the general list. Now that I know about the "other friends" section, I just de-selected one of the lists.

Interesting new feature, I have one slight problem...I have some friends on multiple lists, and adding both the friends list to chat makes those people show twice on the chat list. At first, I didn't know it was going to make an "other friends" for everyone else...which means I can seriously cut back on the friends lists i included for chat.
