Accessories for Sony Reader PRS-505
by TeckGeek October 19, 2007 6:32 AM PDT
M-edge Accessories (www.buymedge.com) is selling several accessory cases/jackets for the PRS-505. They make an executive style case in multiple colors and a sleeve style case that provides great protection for your Reader at the beach, pool, or gym. Both appear to be great add on's to the Sony Reader PRS-505!

It looks like the PRS-505 accessories aren't available yet, though. That page on the site says "Coming Soon."

I don't suppose you're associated with M-edge, are you? :-)

How to deal with PDF on Sony Reader
by JWolf42 October 20, 2007 4:29 PM PDT
I just want to say that there is a way to help deal with the problem of letter sized PDF on a 6" screen. Tha answer is PDFLRF. It's a program that will let you remove the margins and edit the PDF in whatever way works best for you. It then generates LRF with images of the pages for best reading. Have a try. It is available on MobileRead at http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13135

It doesn't look like this program can solve the worst problems, but maybe it'll help. I've used Acrobat Professional a few times to crop pages down to the minimum size, but this may be more convenient for that sort of thing.
