Mostly solar? It might get even better than that. If LawrencevillePlasmaPhysics.com and FocusFusion.org succeed, in about 8-10 years they'll be cranking out generating stations for under $300,000 that produce 5GW each, or more, and sell power at ~$0.002 (2 cents) per kwh. That will drive every other generating model into the Museum For Overpriced Relics.

Sorry for the double. I got an error message saying the first didn't go through. Nothing worse than erroneous error messages! ;)

Too bad Elon Musk is NOT the founder of Tesla. Either you have been suckered by the Tesla/Musk PR machine or this is just shoddy journalism. For the record, Tesla was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning when Martin could not get AC Motors to build him a T-Zero.

Musk did not join Tesla until 2 years later when the company was raising an initial round of financing....

The need to use renewable energy should be the important priority of companies these days. As an employee of BGI Worldwide Logistics (http://www.bgiworldwide.com),I feel that due importance should be given to usage of renewable energy.
