Overall a good show, Leo was awesome as usual. The audio was a little rough during that but to be honest the bad audio was better than the 12min rant at the end. I think a statement to address the non-bias would have been enough but the rant went on long enough for me to cut out of the podcast after the first 3 minutes.

This was a good podcast. Discussion with two guests about the reasonably controversial topic of violent video games was very refreshing, especially since the co-founder of gamefly is directly involved in the industry and not a bystander. Keep 'em coming, Don.

The gamefly interview was awesome. I'm a huge customer of theirs and have for years. They are the netflix of the video game world...

Interesting rant on the last portion. I feel it was important to comment on it, but was a little long winded. Responding to individual attacks on a no named blogger comment could keep listeners away..

This was my first time listening to your podcast, and it was very professional and clean sounding (except for Leo's audio). I could tell you were passionate at the end, but it did go on for a bit long. I also have to admit that I am very surprised at how quick you and Leo are discounting the Wii. Most of the reasons that you brought up are reasons that the majority of people buying the system don't care about. It's a bit of an urban legend now that Wii games don't sell - the attach rate is not as high as MS or Sony, but they still sell enough to keep the publishers and stores interested. Non-hardcore gamers do not care about high-def and can be satisfied with just a few games at a time, which is why Wii games tend to have legs and don't go through the familiar cycle of everyone rushing out to buy a game the second it comes out.

Great podcast, I'll definitely stay tuned.

Once again, Reisinger proves to be the Bill O'Reilly of the tech world with his penchant for misinformed opinions. Always quick to discount a successful system with a tried-and-true formula for success: Worry less about tech and more about the general consumer. I'm shocked that anyone would agree with Don Reisinger, especially Leo Laporte (who is fantastic).

This was a very interesting perspective of video game violence from a game studio perspective. I thought it was intriguing to hear that video game play can lead to some type of conditioned response. I know that I have dreamed quite a bit about gameplay after the fact, so I can understand this opinion. One thing is for sure, violet video games are here to stay as demonstrated by the success of GTA, and this popularity will create tremendous opportunity for those hoping to work in the video game industry.
