It is called minefield but the download does not have the name "minefield" in it.
Smooth move.

Just downloaded and installed and am using it now. Seems very much faster than current Firefox. Don't know yet about plug-ins. It was a little confusing when looking for Minefield to see that it is really a FF 3.1 beta release. So far, so good, so much faster.

I would really consider this if I knew more about it, this is the first time I've heard of it. Mind if I say Firefox (2 and 3) takes forever to startup..

I have downloaded and installed the "minefield" version of firefox, but when I go to start it, it starts the version of firefox I already have installed (ver.3.5.3). How can I get the "minefield" version to start instead of the 3.5.3 version. I want to make a different profile in the minefield version of firefox so that I can have BOTH the 3.5.3 and minefield versions on my system even tho I will not be running them both at the same time. Or, better yet can somebody tell me how I can make a profile in minefield without starting minefield so that the profiles in 3.5.3 and minefield are different?
