NASA should not have to be "hip"

Just as science should not try to be "cool." Hipness and coolness
are, by and large, negative qualities that appeal to juvenile
sensibilities.

"The New Nasa" we think we can help

Web 2.0 and mashup images could be perfect for NASA. Content is still king and NASA should push their content. We have the applications, NASA just needs to free up the content.

Not a big fan of a cool NASA...

They need to approach this differently. They ought to try and push it more in the education system, having people visit schools. My interest in space came from our elementary school's trips to the high school's planetarium. I now attend that high school, and in my senior year intend to take that course.

Need more than facebook or twitter

I have the NASA channel via cable. Except for the space mission reports, it has to be one of the most boring educational channels around.
It's about communicating effectively. The videos they put on are old and poorly put together. Definitely need an upgrade to their approach. (pun intended).
