Looking at the full half of the glass. SpaceX project is not only about cheaper flights to space. It is also about lowering losses when the spaceship fails.

"I really feel that one successful launch will establish us as being fairly reliable," he said.

So if there next launch is successful, a 50% success rate will qualify them as reliable? I wonder if the crew of astronauts that NASA might one day send up in one of their rockets would agree.

Perfectly blown up

WOW maybe NASA needs to learn this level of spin. "It was a perfect mission until it blew up". Thankfully these people are only rocket scientists and don't make blenders or automobiles. Maybe next time they can get funding from Viagra and their rocket can stay up for more than a minute.
