Hopefully these board members will advise Obama to promote working from home. Here's an idea: Allow each knowledge worker to work from home twice a week. This would decrease the commute time of everyone, reduce dependency on foreign oil, reduce carbon emissions and polution, and increase our joy of living.
Once everyone has noticed the benefits of this, more and more people would be free to work from home if business permits it. Companies would learn that people working from home actually tend to work more hours because the work place is always just a few steps away - any burning new idea can (and will) be addressed instantaneously.
It would also stimulate the economy because there would be more need for video conferencing and fast Internet connections.

There could be quite a few ego clashes in there. Hopefully the voice of reason will prevail and people will stick to their own field of expertise.

No Carly Fiorina. You can't have a tech board without Carly Fiorina. Tech is her middle name.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I had a good laugh; how would there be a Carla Fiorina on this board beats the Bi-Jesus out of me. She said some stupid things during the campaign and she did not do very well at HP/Compaq either. Of course, she made off like a bandit with a truck load of cash (send off slap on the wrist)
She also gave Senator McCain a bad name, in that she told him; the fundamental of the economy is sound, even when the ship is sinking.

I was being sarcastic. I just hope the tech board does some good for our country.

A voice for free services and another for what the 'market can bare', which one will prevail?

Can you imagine anything more painful than being stranded on a desert island with this collection of braniacs?

I hope they represent us well.
