LOOK at the truth about how LITTLE Wind Generation CAN contribute to Energy Generation!! Holland - a very windy place - has don't NOTHING with it's Wind Farms! PROOF!
And to the person claiming that Holland is not doing anything with wind, this link shows you are wrong. Northern indiana is putting in wind farms as are other places.

In other words, with its current state, wind power is in no way financially feasible option as a means of energy production. Period.
(Not to mention reasonable or practical.)
The U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of coal- we've got TONS of it- plenty to meet the needs of our country for centuries. The problem is, states like CA block the further development of coal power plants, so you have issues like brown outs and black outs. It really is the most affordable means of electricity production for the vast majority of our country.
If, like the citizens of my state, people balk at the price (added to their energy bills) of putting up a nuclear power plant, which has proven to be a much cleaner and efficient means of production, and is a stable, steady source of power required for a modern power grid, there's no way people want to pay and make their children and grandchildren pay the 'wind tax' to subsidize an unproven, intermittent source like wind.
Sorry folks, but wind energy production was a very poor investment. For you guys, all it amounts to is misad-venture capital. But hey, if people who have Crystler debt in their portfolio can be forced to take a hit down to 20 cents on the dollar, why can't you?
Let me guess, you work in the wind industry? Does your company pay you for this? As if the wind industry hasn't recieved **** loads of subsidies. Nothing like a bunch of corporate shills filling the message boards.
Hahahaha.
IM NOT ANTI NUCLEAR BUT WE NEED A SAFER SOLUTION LIKE WIND AND SOLAR !! SPAIN IS DOING A GOOD JOB !!

- Wind is not the only solution, but part of it. Texas is increasing transmission lines from the panhandle and far west to the population centers. Other states are doing similar things, such as Iowa.

(11 Comments)Wind investment is capital intensive as any utility project is and will pay dividends. I do have investments in alternative energy companies thru an ETF and it actually pays dividends.
