It's a powered wheelchair with a windshield. What are they thinking?

If someone who drives a Hummer or other Tank would actually use one of these think how much greener that would be. It may not be pretty but it is a start. My advice to GM has been: do anything different, anything. Well, at least this is different. Come on GM you're on a better track, and there are even more tracks that are even better. Most of us are angry at you and affraid you'll fail. But, believe it or not, GM, in our heart of hearts we hope you succeed in reinventing yourself for the good of all or us.

Segway couldn't sell their pathetic, way overpriced scooter before so now they have to try to suck more money from whomever [GM?? Government??] to keep their company afloat... Hopefully people will see right through this.

Besides, we already have something that is much more stable, affordable, and has more space: It's called a golf cart.

After seeing this idiotic proposal [that would be more appropriate at burning man, by the way] I hope GM and Segway BOTH go out of business.

Hey jsissick... for the Tahoe cleanup would be a breeze... just a little windex and a swipe or two of the paper towel. Maybe the second generation effort could be a "wearable" version. LOL Jack.

Come on GM is this the best you can do? An electric wheel chair. No wonder GM and America is headed for bankruptcy. GM or Chrysler should team up with Tesla !
While I'm at it, What kind of negotiation position is our government putting Chrysler in with Fiat when it threatens Chrysler to unite or go out of business?

I think it looks like a portable mailbox...perhaps GM could sell them to the US Post Office.
If it were more stable, I would like one though.

If this thing can go up to 30 mph, it can cause serious damages as well as fatalies during an accident. Is there crash test / safety / licencing as well as insurance requirement in owning one of this thing?
