Microsoft may eventually get a bigger presence in the search market, but I don't think it will ever steal the top spot from Google, although "returning 100 percent of its cut to consumers" is a nice decision (and a typical one that would be praised if it came from any other company -- especialy Apple of course --, but, coming from Microsoft as it comes, will probably be considered anti-competitive or part of a plan by Microsoft to buy every human being on Earth and enslave the world).

When Microsoft can win the market the old fashioned way, it has to resort to dirty tactics like buying (or bribing) its way into the market. Same old company, same old story, just a different market :-)

Maybe Microsoft should use Google to search for a solution to their weak and declining search market share.
