Build a better mousetrap... and they'll invent a better mouse.

Are we really sugesting that we upload all of our web acesses and emails (including banking statments and whatnot) to the TMSPN, and trust it to not only not be abused, but not stolen?

With emails going to TMSPN for pattern recognitions, they'll have to store emails for a while.

And frankly, once someone figures out whats going on, the malware simply tailors itself to a quieter attack.

do u need to send the whole file/data over to cloud for scanning? answer is : NO! reputation scaning is about comparing the signature of malware at data center of reputation services versus that at PC/server/email gateway/web gateway of client, thus eliminating the need to upload signature/pattern file onto the PC/servers...Actually it is very simple, you are looking at a virtual database server to store all these signature/pattern file, and scan in with comparing...as it is at your local PC/server...Cna u understand this?

"information security is worse than you think...a security vendor backs up my words with scary metrics"

I always chuckle when I see such security vendors releaseing such metrics. Why? Because they stand to make more money if they scare the crap out of people. I believe politians more than security vendor metrics...it's a lot like Microsoft saying "Windows is more secure than Linux"...we ALL know they are completely honest and objective when they make such claims. Right? ;)
