As an IT professional, I closely monitor news of known security issues and exploits from several reliable sources. Linux, OSX, etc., are definitely NOT free of security issues. Even so, the *nix type operating systems overall suffer much less severe problems than the Windows platforms. Internet Explorer, more than any other single application is at the nexus of the Windows security snafu. Hardly a month goes by that MS doesn't issue a new patch for a total-compromise vulnerability relating to IE. It's a litany of woeful failures. Its basic design philosophy is gravely flawed. Cease to use IE, and a large proportion of Windows' security woes vanishes. That's Rule One of Windows security, as far as I'm concerned, and I know I share this view with a LOT of my colleagues.

I'd say this guy is going to be rich and certain people in DIA had better stock up on Preparation "H". Three hours of poor analysis is sufficient to ruin a family's life on false child porn charges???? These people wouldn't recognize due diligence if I walked up to them and bit their legs.
