Disney has been cross promoting anything it develops for years! This is nothing knew. Before Universal and its Theme Parks, before the media merger mania of the late 90s, early 2000s...Disney leveraged its film, media, music, them park assets against each other for mutual gain.

The one thing they added to their empire was ABC which looked like a lot better merger than AOL and TimeWarner.
