- I am a Moderate Starbucks customer however, when I learned that I could buy a Starbucks card and use the conveniently provided Internet free as a bonus, I thought I would be a much more frequent visitor. This was not even close to the case. I bought a Starbucks Card about 4 days ago. The afternoon that I bought the card, registered it and was ready to log in, a page came up telling me that my log in information was incorrect and rejected it. I spent 2 and half hours trying to get online. I even called and talked to a tech support rep after asking store employees for help. After all of that time and no useful results the store employees suggested we try a different card. So they promptly moved the balance to a new card and we went through the set up again. To my disappointment the results were the same. I still can't get online at Starbucks. Thus process was over a 2 day period. I not only wasted my money but my time which, I run a business so my time is rather important. I often meet clients out and I wanted the internet access to aid my clients. I was expecting this Wi-Fi to be a convince as it is promoted to be, however I have found my experience to be huge inconvince. Not only am I no longer intending to use the Wi-Fi at Starbucks I also intend to use other coffee retailers. The Coffee Bean for instance they provide free Internet without the inconvenience of a lengthy log in process.Ive never had a problem with their internet service. I am extremely disappointed with the Starbucks Corporation.
