Plus you CAN change your plan with verizon anytime you want add anything you want without having to renew your contract. Only time you have to renew your contract is when you get a new phone with discounted pricing and their 50 or $100 new every two discount. To each is own but for me it's been good.

- From personal experience, I can tell you this merger is probably the most painful thing that's happened in communications in a while. The towers in my area have been sold off and the others being converted with major problems. As an AllTel customer, I have not been able to have service at my home for 6 weeks. I get no response from the company and they will not let me out of my contract, although they can not provide service. If this is the future of this merger, I'd look for other options. This same service is happening to the Verizon customers too and from what I am told from local retailers of these services, they aren't receiving answers from the companies either.
