We have all forgot what drives the economy growing. Remember why American cars can not compete with Japanese cars? Americans are told that they have to pay more and more to get a bigger and bigger car, until Japanese cars dominate the market. People now realize that cars should be economic and cheap. Remember Bill Gates told the world that if car makers keep the technology moving as fast as computers, we could have an new car with the sticker price less than $50. When we are afraid of new competors, we are losing the leading edge and the market. We can choose to close the market. But we cannot stop the world from growing.

Take a look at the "Taxpayers Against Fraud" TAF.org website and you will find many companies defraud the government. I am willing to guess that up to 25 % of what the government spends is wasted due to fraud, mismanagement, malfeasance etc. The government has so many people looking for other peoples shoulder they misplace the location and have it up their arse. Wasn't their a stink up the Humvees with no or insufficent armor, untested armored vests for soldier? If I remember correctly, parents and loved ones were spending their own money to buy and send armor plates and vests over to those guys. I believe this is the big picture, the more money the politicians have the more they spend, Even if they don't have it they spend and just print more money, That is one of the reasons the dollar is so weak. Do you think the biggest businesses allow themselves to be cheated, chisled, swindled or defrauded out of money (or build bridges to nowhere) by their suppliers or vendors and continue to do business with them? I don't think so. But the US does, corporate integrity agreements I believe there called. Promise not to do it again and we'll keep buying from you. You can go nuts trying to figure out how all this is allowed to happen without more of an uproar from taxpayers, some of us do pay them whether we like it or not.

>>But It's OK If Halliburton Makes Money Off Dead Soldiers! People are so outraged over crooked Chinese making <<

I think we are waiting for the Halliburton story before we comment on that in any great detail. Right now we are discussing counterfiet networking products coming out of China.

As long as the jobs leave this country, as long as our money is devalued , as long as we go further into debt, it shows us the politicians in Washington are traitors to this nation.
