let see a phone a phone with a physical keyboard, screen resolution that kicks the iphones ass, oh yeah the iphone is 3g to bad it always switches back to edge (will be true 3g when it comes to verizon). a phone that you can use with microsoft for mac, and full HTML email. oh but wait iphone has mobileme oh wait i kind of like getting my emails pushed to my phone in almost true time instead of getting extended credits for a program that does not work.

Hello? This was "introduced" in May. It's now almost October and it's still not available in the USA. What's the story??

I reallly was hoping Sprint would get the Bold since they have the best phone plans. I currently have the treo 650 with unlimited text messaging, unlimited data/emailing, 450 fair and flexible voice minutes, media downloading, and protection all for a monthly bill of about $67. If I got this phone from AT&T I would be paying roughly $103 (NOT inlcuding unlimited text messaging)!! Their prices are terrible. For the blackberry at AT&T I have to pay $30 for the data plan alone plus about $60 for the voice plan and then an additional $20 for text messaging. That's a total of $110!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard if the Bold will have the same issue as the iphone overseas? Meaning that you have to cut off the wireless so that you dong eat up your data time and increase your usage so you go over your allotted amount....just curious

I talked to an AT&T rep today. She said the Bold will be out mid Oct. and for sure it would be out by the last Friday in Oct, for the begining of the holiday shopping season.

Re: Data usage while outside the US.
On my BB Pearl I can turn off the Data Service by going to OPTIONS, NETWORK, and choosing btw ON, OFF, and OFF while ROAMING. I sure hope the BOLD has the same feature.
BTW, 3 different AT&T reps could not tell me how to do this!!

Can't wait for the BOLD.

I've seen this available in Canada and EU (and as a result w/ a hack via eBay) but does anyone know when this will be officially released in the U.S.?

WELL ITS HERE! went to the AT&T store last night, (Albuquerque) and they had it, the rep I knew from doing business there, let me get it last night before it oficially comes out today! so far I'm totally impressed with it over my locking up and sluggish I-Phone!

Its on craigs list and out the door!

The Iphone is a toy phone. It has a unique web browser i must admit but the blackberry is a phone of choice for a person of the business world. I mean seriously if i owned a iphone i would have a hard time sending web clips to clients. The iphone doesn't even cut and paste. The iphone is great though for the young crowd that look for that cool factor. But blackberry will get my money.

I use two websites associated with my work that require flash player. The BB7100i is what I first started using and liked it but I could not access these sites. I went to the MotoQ with no luck and even had trouble with email and Palm Treo works on the sites but I cannot access my email. It's my work's issue not the phone. I want a blackberry but I think even the Bold doesn't have flash player according to what I have read. Is this true?

I post this question on http://www.BlackBerryBoldForum.com please help me out

This phone sounds amazing! I need a new phone really bad, I currently have a pocket pc 8125 and I HATE it I've only had it a little over 2 years and it's on it's last leg. I was thinking of getting it's predecessor the HTC Tilt but upon reading reviews many users were having the same problems I'm having with needing to re-boot it 1000 times, freezing & terrible lagging. I used to be in love with the touch screen but now I'm soooo over touch screen phone. So yesterday I went to at&t I was thinking of getting the bb curve 8310 I read so many great reviews about that phone so I narrowed my search to that phone, I was pretty excited I've never had a bb so I was looking forward to getting to know my new phone...lol Now when I seen the curve in person I was not impressed at all :-(...I mean it looked ok but I wanted more then ok....then the rep showed me the BOLD, that was it I totally loved it I was like there is no way I'm getting the curve I have to have the bold but I didn't want to come out of my my pocket 400 bucks.. left the store so I could clear my head(I'm a pretty impulsive shopper) and went home to do some research..and I am SOLD! I will be going to pick up my phone tomorrow...ohhhh I cant wait!

Is it an ATT problem or RIM that my Bold 9000 could not or would not enable the Bluetooth. I've pushed around on this one. Somebody said I need an upgrade.

The real shame of this phone is its complete inability to play streaming audio other than raw mp3. Even offerings such as Winamp feed are worthless to Blackberry as it doesn't support Flash. It handles many formats in the media player if the origin or source is your own phone memory or memory card, but if it's coming online ... forget it. For me, streaming audio online is important, so I'll be giving this Blackberry 9000 to a nephew or niece and get a Windows Mobile device instead. My bad.

amazing phone. loved the exterior and it can do some pretty sweet phones . love the wifi, hard to find that on a lot of bb phones. got one off ebay and another one off of gsmallover.com and both turned out perfect. was thinking of getting tour as well but for now i'll stick with my bold 9000.
