the past. They have divested all their important units - TVs,
Processors (Freescale), Radios etc until they had only had
Mobiles left. Instead of fixing this business they decide to get rid
of it. Motorola will now consist of a mickey mouse STB business
and a mickey mouse Mobile Telecomm equipment business.
Now all remains is a death by a thousands cuts. What jobs
remain in the US will be moved to India. The share price will
continue to tank. Very sad that a bellwether of American Tech
has been reduced to this.

(3 Comments)shopping; that is to say, time for the new handheld vision to raid
the competition?s talent pool. The executive suites at Nokia and
Samsung are ripe for the picking. As is Apple; the right
approach and the right incentives could lure Tim Cook (COO)
away from Cupertino. In this game, nice guys finish last; it?s
time to get aggressive in building up the handheld division. And
don?t? be afraid to chuck the dead wood (of which there is
obviously plenty) in favor of new talent.
A few other obvious things need to happen . . . Need help or
