Why is GTA IV so Important?
by zaznet March 26, 2008 10:01 AM PDT: GTA IV is a month from release date. It has been out selling multiple EA titles which are already released. GTA IV was also developed for a multiple console release matching EA's current delivery strategy.

On release date you can expect the sales of GTA IV to continue to surpass EA's current offering.

Microsoft provided Take Two with $50 million to secure two exclusive downloadable episodes (new content) for for GTA IV. That is far more than they spent to make Gears of War. There were also rumors that Microsoft wanted to secure GTA IV as exclusive to the 360.

While not everyone likes this title, it is a momentous release for the gaming community and like Halo 3 is expected to generate console sales of the Xbox 360 (and to a lesser extent the PS3).; Like this Reply to this comment
